Making use of Kinesis' 'SPF' technology (Superplastic Formed) enables them to create a frame with complicated, aerodynamic tube profiles, that would be difficult to recreate using conventional Hydroforming techniques. Look closely at the seat tube, which is able to hug the rear wheel very closely, and is an improvement on the KT-410 design. The chainstays are a lightweight alloy, and the seatstays are carbon.
